Why the road...

On the road to Damascus, Saul of Tarsus, a Greco-Roman, Jewish persecutor of Christians, encountered our risen Lord Jesus in a very up close and personal way. This led to a complete conversion of both heart and mind and Saint Paul went on to be the Apostle to the Gentiles. He preached the gospel to all who would listen without concern for his own life, which ultimately led to his martyrdom.

Each and every one of us is called to walk down this road and meet Jesus, up close and personal. Many never will. Many more will reject him and go their own way. This will be a recounting of my own conversions and my walk with the Blessed Lord. It is my personal sojourn on the road to Damascus.
